Women's


Our Women's Ministry has a vision to reach women of our church and community with Christian fellowship and mentoring. From time to time our ladies will have a meal and Christian fellowship based around a Biblical truth and theme. The fellowship is always a delight and many new friendships are blessed and nurtured.

The Mission of the Women's Ministry is to minister to the women of the church with spiritual support, education, growth and fellowship; and to provide christian outreach to individuals an groups of women outside of the church and participate in mission projects.

SNACK PAK 4 KIDS MINISTRY 






Women's Ministry started a Snack Pak 4 Kids Ministry In Noember 2011 - We adopted Rolling Hills School to provide hungry kids with a "Snack Pak 4 Kids" bag every Friday so they will have food over the weekend.  We will be providing these snack paks for approximately 50 children.  We need your help in the following areas:

  1. Donations to the Second Baptist Church "Snack Pak 4 Kids designated fund - This mission project will cost approximately $14,000.00 a year.
  2. We need jars of peanut butter (13 to 18 ounce only) and boxes of pop tarts - Bring to the church office at 419 N. Buchanan, Amarillo, TX.
  3. We need help in packing bags on January 31  @ S.E. 5th & Johnson at 6:00pm.   Come be a part of this ministry.  You will be blessed!



"MYSTERY AT KENSINGTON MANOR" DINNER
Our dinner was January 20.  We had a great time of food and fellowship and everyone wore their 18th century hats.  The winner of our hat contest was Amy Sneed with Treva Ellis and Becky Campbell running close behind.  Here is a peek at Amy's hat.
